The Conscious Essentials was born not from a business idea, but from a deeply personal journey—of healing, remembering, and returning home to what has always sustained us.

I was raised in a Caribbean household where wellness wasn’t sold in bottles—it was grown in the backyard, simmered on the stove, and passed down through generations. My father was a believer in the body’s ability to heal, and the owner of a small health food store. I didn’t realize it then, but those early years—watching herbs being measured, teas brewed, and people cared for naturally—were planting seeds within me.
 

Like many of us do, I strayed. I embraced convenience, modern medicine, and the fast-paced world around me. But when my own health began to unravel—fibroids, uterine cysts, and the quiet destruction that stress brings—I found myself back at my roots. Back to herbs. Back to food as medicine. Back to stillness, prayer, and the kind of healing that works from the inside out.
